Yukimi Lanterns (shown below)
The yukimi is named "snow viewing" because as the granite
lantern cap captures the snow fall, the lantern is believed to be at it's greatest beauty
reflecting the purity of simple lines. Yukimi lanterns are very popular used near water
elements and the roofs are found both in hexagon and round in shape.
Pre-drilled with a hole for
electrical - All of our yukimi style lanterns are pre-drilled with a hole for
electrical, a wonderful feature that allows you to light up the center light box!
"Pre-drilled with a hole for electrical" means that the lantern is drilled with
a approximately a 3/4" hole up through the inside of the granite lantern up to the
light box. This is a wonderful feature for it allows you to install low voltage
electrical wiring if you should decide to enlighten in your garden! Electrical wiring is
not included but can be found at all hardware stores in the outside landscape lighting
section.
