 Goza Mat
Goza mats provide a unique and sensuous floor covering and a refreshing covering
for tables and even benches. In the Japanese home, tatami mats are used as a surface
for sitting, sleeping and walking. Tatami mats consist of two separate
layers, the straw core and the beautiful soft reed cover edged with cloth called
goza mat. The goza mat is the decorative top layer mat of the tatami
mat which creates
the pattern and add the attractiveness of the tatami mat. It is the goza
mat that is seen
and most people are familiar with. The goza mat is also very popular in Japan as beach
mats and coverings for benches. Our beautiful goza mat from Japan measures the standard size of 3'x6' and can
easily be used in any home to create the tatami like atmosphere with
ease. Our japanese goza mat has an attractive black border on all sides and are
approximately 1/4" in thickness. Goza mats also make attractive throw rugs for
entryways, kitchens, under coffee tables, placed at the foot of beds and even used in the
garden veranda. Our goza mat makes a wonderful and authentic japanese decor.

 Japanese Kotatsu Table
Kotatsu or kotatsu table is a traditional japanese table used in both japanese homes and
restaurants. The kotatsu is the most extensively used piece of furniture in
a Japanese home. The kotatsu table is also considered the emotional center of the home for family and friends gather around its
welcoming warmth. Our kotatsu features a heater in the center and the removable reversible
top is placed over a blanket to contain the heat.
 Made in
Japan, our kotatsu features a reversible kotatsu table top (dark gray and light gray) with a wooden
frame construction, durable black plastic legs and includes the electric heater! The
electric heater of the kotatsu features a dial gauge thermostat with 3 settings and a protective
grille. The rectangle kotatsu table measures 29 1/2" by 41" and
14" in height.
